A winter break in the Lake District offers plenty of opportunities for crisp morning walks, snowy views and boat trips on the lakes. After a day of exploring with your pooch, we think retiring to a cosy cottage with an open fire is the best way to end the day! Low Kiln Hill is a lovely four bedroom cottage in Bassenthwaite, a short drive from Keswick. This property allows up for up to eight guests and four dogs.

The living room has a smart TV, so you can settle in for the night by the wood burning stove and watch your favourite movie.
