Dog Furiendly, event service for dog owners, will host a virtual quiz all about man’s best friend this Saturday 4th April at 6PM on Facebook Live.
The virtual quiz, aptly named the Bark Aid ‘Pup Quiz’ will raise funds for charities that desperately need support to cope with Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Our nation of lovers will take part in five tail-wagging rounds, including dogs in film, TV, music, general knowledge and geography.
The quiz is free to enter, but there is a suggested donation of £2 to go to National Emergencies Trust.
The quiz will take place live via Dog Furiendly’s Facebook page, which can be found here.
Due to the number of participants, it won’t be possible to pick a winner of the quiz, but there will be bonus rounds in between with the chance to win prizes.
Founder of Dog Furiendly Adele Pember said: “We all know that this virus is having devastating effects on our society, which means we need to find innovative ways to bring people together to support others
“We’re a nation of dog lovers, so many of us will be taking comfort with them, so, to lend a helping paw we came up with Bark Aid, a series of virtual events to lift community spirits.”
“The Pup Quiz will be plenty of fun, and gives dog owners the opportunity to learn something new about their dogs”.
The Pup Quiz is part of a series of virtual entertainment for Bark Aid, a campaign raising funds for charities and communities affected by the virus.
Entertainment includes a virtual dog show, live dog yoga class and webinars from dog professionals such as Tom Harper Photography and Frank and Jellys.
