Pet healthcare specialists, Bob Martin has struck up an exciting new partnership with Dog Furiendly,a free-to-use travel platform for dog owners.
The partnership will see the two companies working closely together to educate and advocate for better parasite control amongst dogs and promote responsible pet ownership.
Increased dog ownership since the pandemic is still having a big impact on the UK staycation industry with more Brits looking at ways they can include their furry friends in their getaways.
Reports from Kennel Club suggest that dog ownership has risen by nearly 8% annually since the start of the pandemic in 2019. Furthermore, Google Trend data shows a 132% increase for the search term ‘dog friendly holidays’ compared to May 2021.
With the number of dog friendly holidays on the rise, and the warmer weather looming, dog owners are being warned of the increased risk of fleas, ticks and worms. Both companies will educate dog owners on the risks while equipping them with the knowledge to prepare and protect their pets through preventative and curative solutions.
