Press release from Dog Furiendly (www.dogfuriendly.com)
Dog Furiendly, a travel and event service for dog owners, has announced today that it is partnering with Dogstival, an annual festival of fun for dogs taking place on 5th-6th June in the New Forest.
Dog Furiendly will become the official media sponsor as part of their ongoing commitment to help dog owners live happy and healthy lifestyles through dog friendly travel.
The agreement will see Dog Furiendly hosting the VIP area to welcome some of the UK’s top dog influencers and bloggers. It also includes guides on dog friendly travel for dog owners visiting from further afield and regular promotion on Dog Furiendly’s website and the brand’s popular social media channels.
Dogstival’s tail-wagging weekend is set to be a well deserved celebration for all the lockdown canine companions who pulled us through the pandemic. Dogstival is dedicated to delivering new experiences and opportunities for dog owners to relax and have fun with their dog.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes can take part in sporting activities such as canicross, flyball, agility and barkour – a spin on the popular sport parkour. That’s not forgetting a good old-fashioned sports day where owners can compete with their dogs to win prizes.
This Morning’s TV Vet Dr Scott Miller will host the Dog House Stage, a purpose build vets area and canine nutrition kitchen with talks and demonstrations about things health and wellbeing.
With the New Forest historically William The Conqueror’s old hunting ground Dogstival will also feature a specially-designed gundog village with various scurries and challenges. The Top Dawg Ring hosts fun dog shows, special puppy training lessons and gives dog-lovers a chance to meet and learn about rare breeds.
Other attractions include a giant dog-diving splash pool, impressive dog show acts and demonstrations, live music and a range of food and drink supplied by local producers.
The event is located in the beautiful surroundings of Burley Park, New Forest and has plenty of social distancing measures in place to protect visitors and their dogs.
Adele Pember founder of Dog Furiendly said, “Our tails are wagging to become Dogstivals official media partner for 2021. The event is a much-deserved day out for our beloved companions who pulled us through a difficult year.”
“At the core of both of our brands lies similar values to promote new experiences for dog owners and create memorable moments together making us a natural fit. Our collaboration offers an elevated opportunity to reach and engage with dog owners across the UK in creative and innovative ways.”
Commenting on the partnership and the festival in June, Dogstival Event Director said;
“We are delighted to be partnering with Dog Furiendly, especially as the New Forest is the perfect destination for dogs – and humans – to explore the miles of stunning forest, coastline and dog-friendly attractions.”
“We’re excited about our plans for June and have a great programme of new four-legged entertainment ready for Burley Park in a couple of months time. There’s something for every size or breed of dog with unique activities, wonderful artisan stands and of course, some great live music to get those paws tapping.” He concluded.
