Dog Furiendly Launches Pooch Pass – A Discount Card for Dog Owners

Immediate Release

Dog Furiendly, a travel platform for dog owners dedicated to listing dog friendly places across the UK, has launched Pooch Pass, a new discount card providing access to exclusive discounts and deals at a range of businesses.

With many dog owners finding it increasingly expensive to keep their pets, Pooch Pass aims to make owning a dog more affordable and accessible for all.

According to the RSPCA, 68% of dog owners in the UK agreed that it was more expensive to own a dog in 2022 than in previous years. The PDSA estimates that the average lifetime cost of owning a dog is £30,800. With household bills and mortgage payments rising, many dog owners are finding it increasingly challenging to make ends meet, and the Dogs Trust has reported a significant increase in calls from owners unable to cope.

In response to this growing need, Pooch Pass offers dog owners access to exclusive discounts and deals at a range of businesses, making it more affordable for them to keep their pets happy and healthy. From dog-related products and services to dog-friendly holidays and more, Pooch Pass offers a comprehensive list of discounts to subscribers.

Adele Pember, founder of Dog Furiendly said; “As a dog owner myself, I know how important our furry friends are to us, but I also understand the challenges that come with keeping them happy and healthy, especially during tough times. That’s why I’m thrilled to launch Pooch Pass, a discount card designed to help dog owners save money while supporting businesses up and down the country.”

Pooch Pass not only helps dog owners save money, but it also supports small businesses that have included discounts to help dog owners during these challenging times. By subscribing to Pooch Pass, dog owners can support businesses while enjoying the benefits of the discount card.

Adele continues; “By subscribing to Pooch Pass, dog owners can access a range of exclusive discounts and deals, making it more affordable to keep their pets happy and healthy. It’s not just about the savings though, it’s also about supporting small businesses and communities during this difficult time. I hope that we will continue to make a real difference to the lives of dog owners across the UK.”

The money generated from Pooch Pass will also support Dog Furiendly and its free-to-use resource listing over 30,000 dog friendly places across the UK, ensuring that this valuable resource remains available to all.

In the next couple of months Pooch Pass will launch a free forever plan for key dog workers, including those in the rescue industry and vet services. This new offering will provide these essential workers with access to Pooch Pass benefits for free, helping them to keep their furry friends happy and healthy without incurring additional costs.
