Details
Located seven miles south of the Small Isle of Muck, Ardnamurchan Point and its Stevenson-built lighthouse constitute the most westerly point in mainland Britain.
As you can imagine, this is an isolated spot, forming the southern edge of Sanna Bay and approached by a long single track road.
The beach is pristine and unspoilt, with the view extending as far as Skye, in the north..
It's a great getaway location, a fine place to regain or confirm perspective.
