Details
Beinn Eighe Mountain Trail is a hike based in the Scottish Highlands. The walk has stunning walks over Loch Maree and takes about 3-4 hours. This walk has very steep rocky terrain so is for moderate to experienced walkers. Most dogs can do this walk with no issues however we would not recommend for dogs with poor mobility as they may struggle.
The walk begins at the Coille na Glas Leitre Trails car park which is sign posted from the A832. Walk to the far end of the car park then turn left to go under the bridge. Once at the other end of the bridge keep left and go through the woodland trail. From there keep going up until you reach the top. You will be rewarded with stunning views.
Remember to take your walking boots and waterproofs as this trail is exposed to the elements!

This is hard but rewarding walk with stunning mountain views once you reach the top. The path can be very steep and slippy at some points so we would not recommend to everyone. We saw a variety of dog breeds on the way up including a King Charles Spaniel which all seemed to manage the walk well without much bother.
