We love walking our dog here and do so regularly. There are a number of different routes to chose from, both long and short so would suit anyone’s walking requirements. We enjoy it as it means we can go different routes all the time for a bit of variation. There is also an open field in front of the castle, which is great for playing fetch/ games with your dogs… we used it as a good opportunity to train our dog around other dogs too. We also had a picnic in front of the castle, which was lovely. There are quite a lot of dogs off the lead here so something to bare in mind if that would make your dog uncomfortable. From our perspective, it is such a lovely and scenic place to walk your dog.
