Details
Corrie Fee is a beautiful walk based in the head of Glen Clova which is in the Angus Glens. It makes up a section of Corrie Fee National Nature Reserve and was created by a giant glacier during the Ice Age. It is common to find Golden Eagles in this area amongst many other types of wildlife.
The walk starts in the Glen Doll car park where there is a fee of £2. There are sign posts with maps to help you find your way and a Ranger Centre that provides toilets. Walk towards the Ranger Centre and follow the signs for the forest walk. The path for Corrie Fee is the track that goes straight on past the farms with a slow incline up the hill. Following the track up it will eventually turn into a woodland walk, from here you will see the sign for Corrie Fee and the trees will open up.
This walk is suitable for people of most abilities and takes 1-2 hours. The path on the way up has some stunning views and lots of stuff for your dog to sniff!

This walk is reasonably local to us and is by far our favourite in the area. The walk up the Corrie is a pretty easy road with lots of scenery and woodland to look at on the way up. Once you reach Corrie Fee the woodland opens up and the views are beautiful! you can walk through the valley up to the waterfall at the far end and if you want an even longer walk you can continue up the path to complete a munro or two!
