We love this picturesque place of history, the views are beautiful and your doggy will love to sniff around. With so much nature, it’s important to keep your dog on the lead around here.
Dogs are allowed in the outer park which has numerous walks and places to explore. You’ll be able to pick up maps for the White Park and River Walk (so worth it. Don’t get lost and end up following the birds like we did).
There’s also a dog friendly castle for you to explore which hosts its own dog friendly cafe (called Castle Walk).
There’s another cafe in the main house (called the Billiard Room Tearooms) which dogs are not allowed to visit. However if you fancy a bite to eat from there, you are welcome to sit outside (they even have umbrellas to offer you should you need them).
Dogs are not permitted in the deer park and boardwalk, but there is still so much more to explore!
