Bordesley Abbey is part of the Forge Mill estate. Please note that dogs are not allowed into Forge Mill and that is chargeable. Bordesley Abbey however is free to all
The Bordesley Abbey ruins are available to explore and see and walk around - be careful though as there are sometimes cows in the field so if you have dogs with you keep them on the lead if they’re there.
The walk around the Abbey and the surrounding fields is approx 2km from the car park and you can explore the fields and woodland. There are streams too - some are fast flowing but there are warnings up where not safe so please be aware of these if on the walk.
The land is relatively flat so suitable for pushchairs etc and areas are gated off so please ensure you close them behind you
If you want a shop or restaurant stop, there is a Sainsbury’s and Beefeater within mins of the area.
