Details
Lauriston Castle is a 16th-century tower house with 19th-century extensions overlooking the Firth of Forth, in Edinburgh, Scotland. It lies on Cramond Road South, between Cramond, Davidson's Mains, and Silverknowes. The castle itself is not dog friendly but the extensive gardens are open to the public at no charge and offer lots of space for dog walking and views over the Firth of Forth and Fife. There is a small cafe at the castle which has outdoor seating and offers a takeaway service. There is limited parking at the entrance of the grounds.

A lovely place for a walk – whilst there is ample parking, it can get busy, so best to avoid peak times.
The Mimis on site is also worth a visit – they often have dog friendly cakes to buy
