Loch Maree is a stunning area located in North West Scotland and is part of the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve. If you go to the Beinn Eighe Visitor centre there are clearly marked walks from here for all abilities to see views from of the stunning Loch. The centre has a car park, toilets and a picnic area. This area has an array of wildlife including Golden Eagles and Red Deer. This beauty spot is a great place to take your dogs for a long walk and a great place for the humans to get some views! Loch Maree is a short drive from Gairloch and Poolewe which are lovely little towns and worth a visit after a long day of walking!

Loch Maree is a breathtaking location in the Scottish Highlands. We were based in Gairloch, about half an hours drive away which was perfect to do some of the longer trails. Buddy loved this place as there was so much for him to sniff and explore. We hope to return next year to do some more trails as we loved it that much!
