Mousehold Woods is a lovely woodland walk popular with dog walkers. Dogs can go off-lead but be careful as it is near a road. Parking available.

There’s a diverse range of habitats to explore for hours in all seasons, with heathland, woodland and some grassland.
Only downsides are it can be a bit busy for parking, and the pond has had incidences of broken glass so dogs are best kept on leads near there, but otherwise this is such a great city retreat.
