Neist Point Lighthouse is a popular spot on the western tip of the Isle of Skye.
The walk takes approximately an hour and begins at the car park at the end of a single track road. The car park is small but there are spaces up the side of the road as well for overflow. The path that leads down to the lighthouse and is made up of steep stairs that lead down the cliff. The views from here are beautiful and on a clear day you can see far out into the water.
Once down the steps, the walk flattens out before heading up a small hill. Here you may find sheep grazing here so dogs should be kept on a lead. After the hill you will reach the lighthouse which is very picturesque!
Please note that as this location is based on a cliff it is recommended not to go in high wind weather conditions.
