Ord Hill is a forested ridge on the Black Isle, just across the Kessock Bridge and overlooking Inverness.
Both walk and Orienteering training site, Ord Hill is a great place to go for a walk with dogs.
Completely forested, with occasional view points of Inverness, offers a shaded circular walk with way-marked paths. Some turning points can be a little tricky, specially in the summer with the tall grass, but most path will eventually re-join the main path. Parts of this walk include a mild steep ascent and there are a few steps as well. This walk is well away from any roads, however livestock is regularly on route so you may need to put your dog on lead.
The walk starts at a designated carpark, with available toilets (might or might not be open) and bins.
