    Bryn Bach Park

One of our local hometown walks, this is a frequent weekly walk we go on with a range of trails to venture on. The park is always full of other dogs and their owners which is good for a puppy needing some socialisation and if your dog is friendly. Parking in this park is free however due to the current circumstances the car park is closed so you can only attend the park if you live locally to walk there because of COVID.

The main path is tarmac however there are gravel and grass paths throughout which can make your walk a shorter one or a lengthy one, but this is considered one of our shorter walks. The gravel/grass paths can be muddy in the rain therefore appropriate footwear would be suitable. Despite the park being so full of friendly dogs, dogs must kept be on leads at all time however the Lake View Café is dog friendly so you can go in for refreshments with your four-legged friend.

Even though you got a lovely path around the lake to go on a more quiet walk we tend to follow the path/road around the golf course area which offers more open space and a quieter walk.

The park has plenty of facilities such as a visitor centre, café, gift shop, campsite/touring area, plenty of events throughout the year, outdoor activities such as foot golf, coasteering, gorge walking, kayaking and canoeing to even hen & stag parties!

We love this little local walk and makes for a great experience for yourself and your dog.
