Not far from the A2, you can find Shorne Woods country park. A large car park, charges apply – you can also pay by app. All day = £3. There is a cafe close to the car park. There are several different colour coded pathed routes you can follow depending on your desired walking distance, pick your colour and follow the wooden markers on route. Popular attractions include the dog pond (though I’ve never fancied a dip but lots of doggos seem to like it) and an exercise trail with gym equipment for the humans. We stumbled across this fairy circle on the red route, which takes you up to a great view point – be warned though the stairs they mention on route are VERY steep! The humans had to carry me all the way up and were sure huffing and puffing when they got there!
