Just Along from Sea Palling is the comparatively unknown Waxham beach. Set just down the road from the little village of Waxham the beach here is firmly off the beaten track.
This stretch of relatively unspoilt coast falls within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With sandy beach as far as you can see in both directions it is easy to see why. The only minor blot on the landscape are the (necessary) sea defences. Whilst you will find a seawall and rock groynes here you won’t find anything on the scale of those at Sea Palling though.
