Pontypridd park offers fantastic scenery and space for dogs of all sizes and breed. It is divided into the Ynysangharad Cricket club as well as the Memorial Park, however , offers plenty of field space for dogs as well as a lovely pathed walk.
The river Taff also runs through the park , which seems to be very popular with dog walkers also.
Recent development has offered an enclosed , fenced of space including a dog waste bin and water fountain. (Currently inactive but will be inquiring into getting turned on).
DOG OWNERS ARE ENCOURAGED AND EXPECTED TO ACT RESPONSIBLE. ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ALSO PATROL THE PARK AND WILL OFFER ADVICE WHERE NEEDED. DOG WASTE BINS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE PARK.
THE PARK GATES ARE OPEN FROM 8AM TO 5.30pm.
October - March 8:30 am - 5:45 pm
April 8:30 am - 7:45 pm
May - August 8:30 am - 8:45 pm
September 8:30 am - 7:45 pm
The on-site cafe is privately run by Just Perfect Catering and is open on weekends from Easter until the end of September and daily in the summer holidays.
