Description
Curlers Rest is one of the oldest pubs in Glasgow. Situated on Byres Road, it is named for the curlers who stopped at the tavern after practising at the nearby pond in the 17th Century, when the area was rural countryside. Nowadays, it is a busy spot, popular with students and locals alike. It is situated right beside Hillhead subway station, five minutes from the Glasgow Botanic Gardens.
It is a warm and cosy place with a large food menu, and an even larger selection of drinks behind the bar. An ideal spot for a stop off after a walk nearby
Dogs are welcome in all areas of the pub.
