Dogs are either allowed downstairs or upstairs on the terrace. Both are lovely areas to sit, but our favourite? The terrace, it’s perfect for those rare occasions when the sun is shining in Wales. Dogs are offered a water bowl on arrival to keep them hydrated. The service isn’t table service but pay at the till (which we prefer), so bear this in mind if popping upstairs with your pooch.

Food is fantastic and they offer extra menus for those who are Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-free. Most meals cost an average of £8. Taking the kids? There’s a lovely kids menu and they are offered crayons and paper to keep themselves occupied. Drinks are lush too with a wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. We love the Cherry Bakewell cocktail – YUM.

Parking can be a nightmare on Wellfield Rd, particularly on a Saturday. However, there is plenty of parking around Roath Park but be prepared to drive around a little.
