Description
Tea House on the Loch is situated on the banks of Johnston loch and offers a scenic venue for a coffee or afternoon tea.
The verenda section of the cafe is dog friendly where they serve the full menu (dogs are not allowed in the restaurant area).
There is plenty of parking available and weather permitting, there is an outside balcony area over looking the loch.

We loved our visit to Teahouse on the Loch. The staff very friendly and accommodating. We sat within the conservatory area of the cafe where there were water bowls on offer and the staff showered Brodie with treats and pets.
We opted for the afternoon tea for two and it was delicious, plenty of sandwiches with generous fillings and a selection of cakes and scones.
We will definitely be back!

We found ourselves visiting this place by chance as we were caught on a walk later than expected and fancied something to eat, and what nice discovery!
We had a lovely tea set of hot drink and small bites that was quite good. They were happy for us to sit inside with the dogs (though I think they have a designated are where dogs are allowed inside, but can’t remember exactly if this is true).
Staff was very friendly and happy to see the dogs. They also had a water bowl available for the pups.
Would definitely visit again!

We have visited the Tea House several times now. The food is delicious, whether it be a lunch or an afternoon tea or just a coffee and cake. They usually have vegetarian/vegan and gluten free cakes available.
The seating area with dogs is in the entrance area but there is plenty of room and tether points that you can attach the dogs lead to. There is also a terrace with tables over-looking the loch. Water is freely available and anytime we have been there has been a treat for the dog from the kitchen, sometimes even a sausage! Highly recommended!
