Welcome to The Brookmill pub and kitchen, a 19th century Victorian corner pub, proudly posted next to the Brookmill park.
We are conveniently located in the heart of Deptford with easy access from both St. Johns and Deptford Bridge & Elverson Road on the DLR.
The Brookmill has an enviably sized heated beer garden, a large function room, our bar is stocked with craft ales from surrounding boroughs, great cocktails, fine wines and a talented kitchen team cooking delicious, honest food.

Located just opposite Brookmill park (where doggo’s aren’t allowed unfortunately), you will find this ideal neighbourhood pub. It was our local pub for the first 18 months of Pepperoni’s life and where we took her for her first pub visit as part of her puppy socialisation so will always hold a special place in our hearts! For us the convenient location between Lewisham and Deptford stations as well as it’s delicious pub food kept us going back for more! Dogs are welcome both inside and in their beer garden. One time we visited we were even lucky enough to be seated at their private nook table which had bench style seating which Pepperoni loved sitting at the table with us. Another super handy feature is they have a train departure board for the nearby St John station so you could time finishing your pint perfectly if you were waiting for a train! When they re-opened following COVID restrictions, you were able to order contact-free via their app. We bumped into other doggos on several other occasions and the pub is also child friendly. We just loved the friendly neighbourhood atmosphere here, the staff always gave Pepperoni lots of fuss (when they could!). Although this is no longer our local we will always considering revisiting especially for their awesome Sunday roasts!
