Description
16th Century pub in the heart of York, situated at one end of The Shambles. Reportedly York's most haunted pub, it has previously been investigated by the Most Haunted team. The pub is dog friendly inside and out with water and treats on offer! The look and feel of the pub really demonstrate it's age, with sloping floors and walls covered in art showing the long history of York. Food is served daily and there's a wide selection of beers on offer.

Nice pub food, good sized beer garden, character round every corner. The main bar area isn’t the biggest and fills up quickly but there is additional seating upstairs. It is an old building and the floors are uneven in places but that’s all part of the charm
