Description
Found tucked away along the coast path near Portscatho on the remote Roseland Peninsula, the Hidden Hut is a special spot to enjoy freshly cooked food out in the sea air.
By day, they serve fresh seasonal lunches from the outdoor beach kitchen. Soups, chowders and spiced dhals during the spring and autumn. Big beach salads and grilled seafood in the summer.
They also sell pasties, sausage rolls, homemade cakes, fresh doughnuts and very local ice cream year round. Vegan and gluten-free options available.
By night, the hut opens on selected summer evenings to host open-air feast nights. You need to purchase tickets for the feast nights events (and they sell out FAST)
Both the beach and the hut are family and dog friendly. The bay is known for its safe, calm waters. There are free public toilet facilities on site.
Dogs are allowed on the beach all day, all year round.
