The key to feeling good and staying healthy for both dogs and humans is exercise. It’s been proven that having a healthy exercise routine can be easier to stick to when you have a friend to do it with. Well, there’s no better friend than your dog!
That’s why we’ve teamed up with Burns Pet Nutrition to create a FREE exercise programme to gradually help you and your dog to run a 5K with your pooch in just 10-12 weeks.
The programme has been created in conjunction with human running experts RunWales and canicross experts PawRunner, our tail-wagging programme has been carefully created for beginners; considering the health of both human and hound throughout.
Up for it? Tail Wag to 5K starts on the the 23rd January with this walk being the first step on your journey. Pre-register to be the first to receive our free activity pack and regular pupdates throughout the programme!
The meeting point for our walk is outside the West Lodge Entrance by Pettigrew Tea Room, and the walk itself will take approximately 60 minutes. Sensible shoes and warm clothing are advised. Parking is widely available in the city centre, and there are Pay and display car parking facilities are available nearby in Sophia Gardens (CF11 9LJ), Castle Mews (CF10 3ER) and North Road (CF10 3EA).
Everyone who joins the walks will receive a free goody bag from Burns Pet Nutrition filled with plenty of treats.
