We’re Joining The Big Dog Walk As An Official Media Partner

We’re excited to announce that we are partnering with Touchpoint Live Media to support the Big Dog Walk, a series of tail-wagging events taking place in some of the UK’s most beautiful stately parks.

There are 6 Big Dog Walks planned across the year starting on the 30th May running through to 17th October at stunning locations across the country. Our partnership with the Big Dog Walk part of our ongoing commitment to help dog owners live happy and healthy lifestyles through dog friendly travel and events.

The Big Dog Walk aims to bring together dog lovers and dogs and encourage socialisation and exercise, with fun games, surprises around the route.

How long are the walks?

Dogs and their owners can choose from either a 2k, 5k or 10k route and walk times have been staggered this year for the comfort and safety of all taking part.

There will be five walk start times, each route providing pawsome pitstops for a drink and a rest. The walks are led by walk leaders, so no need to worry about maps or getting lost.

There will also be a Puppy Socialisation Walk at 10am for lockdown pups to meet other dogs and socialise them in a safe organised way.

What else can I enjoy at the event?

This event is much more than a Sunday stroll. Back at the Event Village there will be plenty of have-a-go activities for dogs such as a Dogstacle course, shopping, expert advice, fun dog show, doggy splash park, and plenty of refreshments. You can even get yourself a groom on-site if your pooch is a lover of mud or foxes poo!

Can I do the walk for charity?

Many dog owners are doing the dog walk to fundraise and support animal rescue charities who have been devastated by the effects of COVID-19.

When and where are the events taking place?

  • Sunday 30th May – Belvoir Castle, Lincolnshire
  • Sunday 6th June – Loseley Park, Surrey
  • Sunday 13th June – Borde Hill, Sussex
  • Sunday 27th June – Harewood House, Yorkshire
  • Sunday 3rd October – St Clere, Kent
  • Sunday 17th October – Hylands Park, Essex

Are you taking part?

Our tails are wagging to support the Big Dog Walk this year. The events taking place across the UK gives our dogs the chance to really stretch their legs, after a year of being cooped indoors. At the core of both of our brands lies similar values to promote new experiences for dog owners and create memorable moments together making us a natural fit.
