Details
This wonderful place was once the home of Charles Darwin’s good friend, geologist Charles Lyell. Over the years, the Darwins owned many dogs, so there’s no doubt they got to enjoy some of the pleasures this wonderful place brings. You and your pooch will have plenty to explore, surrounded by eight acres of beautiful gardens, dense woods and open meadows filled with free roaming ponies. All rooms are individually designed with bold colours of florals, many boasting garden views and access.
Dogs are welcome for £10 per pet, per night, dogs will find complimentary treats and towels for muddy paws at reception. Dogs aren’t able to join you in the restaurant, but they will provide dining options in the lounge should you fancy a spot of breakfast or tasty dinner after a long days walk. There’s still plenty of dog friendly pubs just a bones throw away, so you’ll never be short of a bite to eat.
