Dogs are more than welcome to stay for £20 per pooch, per night. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, designer toiletries and flat-screen TVs, plus tea and coffeemaking equipment. Suites add separate sitting areas, and garden or church views.
Parking is free, as is full English breakfast. There's an a la carte brasserie restaurant on-site. The bar has high ceilings, a minstrels' gallery and a classic British food menu. Other amenities include a guest lounge with a wood-burning fireplace and cafe menu.
The main restaurant, Tattersalls Brasserie, is a not a dog friendly space but you do have the choice of al fresco dining on other terrace, in the warm and friendly Jockey Bar or the beautifully appointed Sitting Room. All three overlook the Village Green, perfect for a short walk to allow your four-legged friend to let off steam.
For longer walks, few hotels have such a wealth of walks nearby – including the much-loved walk up to Broadway Tower and back, which includes a short section of the Cotswold Way.
