This lovely dog friendly hotel was, built in 1752. It's is an iconic literary address, the social hub of Laugharne and the favourite watering hole of poet and writer Dylan Thomas, who famously left the bar's phone number as his own.
Dogs are always welcome here, whether you're staying overnight, or popping in for a bite to eat (bar area only).
The rooms are luxurious with en-suite rooms, organic wool furnishings, and mattresses. The décor and furnishings summon up nostalgic thoughts of vintage values, style and warm Welsh hospitality ensuring that your stay will be as comfortable as possible. Dogs are welcome to stay overnight for £10 per night (one dog per room).
If you wish to dine with your pooch soundly by your side, Dylan’s bar is the perfect spot for a relaxing drink or bite to eat. Dogs are welcome in the bar where you can sample tasty delights from the bar menu. Breakfast is served in the restaurant (where dogs are not allowed) however if you’d like the dog to join you, a table can be set up in the bar area. Alternatively, your pooch is welcome to relax in your room whilst you dine.
