Daleside Cottage is one of two cottages in the converted cart shed building, set in the middle of 100 acres of farmland with spectacular views. Luxury super king/twin beds, log burner and beautiful interiors await. Enjoy walking trails direct from the door or explore the many sights of Yorkshire from this central location. One well behaved dog is welcome.
The space
Mowbray Hall Cottages are set in a beautiful secluded spot at the end of a half mile drive, outside the village of Grewelthorpe. Each cottage has its own parking space, private entrance and enclosed garden.
Daleside cottage has a level entrance and internal floor plan, with an cosy open plan sitting area featuring a log burner, eating/reading nook and well equipped kitchen. Double-doors lead to a spacious bedroom (sleeps two) with luxury Epoc super king or twin (zip and link) beds, dressing table and large wardrobe with ample hanging space, drawers and shelves.
The beautiful ensuite bathroom includes a separate bath and wet room style walk-in shower. Guests can enjoy Bramley's 100 percent natural bath products and fluffy white towels. There is underfloor heating throughout the entire cottage.
Daleside cottage enjoys views across the field to Hackfall and one if its many historic follies, Mowbray Castle.
There is a shared utility between the cottages with a washing machine, dryer and freezer.

The location is beautiful and a perfect escape in the country.
The cottage itself is modern, cosy and beautifully decorated. It has all the facilities for a weekend or week long stay. Cleaning products and hand sanitiser were supplied as well as toiletries.
Local walks are perfect for dog walking so no need to travel far but also a great base for visiting other places. There is a dog friendly pub at the end of the road (0.5mile).
Sarah contacted us prior to arrival and emailed us a copy of the handbook, which is very informative. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a bottle of wine to start our holiday, such a lovely touch.
The dogs themselves loved the space, especially the underfloor heating!
Doggy extras: a bed, a bowl, towel, outdoor hose, dog treats and dog waste disposal bin on property.
This has been by far our favourite dog friendly accommodation and we would definitely make a return visit!
