Glen Dye is an outdoors paradise. There are miles and miles of tracks on your doorstep for walking, cycling and running. These run through one of Britain’s finest private forests or across miles and miles of moorland wilderness.
The River Dye is also on your doorstep. Here you can fish for trout or simply paddle or swim. The river is an excellent place for canoeists when in spate (after rain).
Banchory, Aboyne, Stonehaven, Dunnottar Castle, Balmoral, Braemar and Ballater are all within easy reach as are -literally- hundreds of amazing places to walk, cycle, climb and yomp. The Highlands are a civilised place with its ‘access to all’ policy enshrined in law, so if you love remote outdoor activities then this is the place for you.
