When we first decided to take Ursus to a groomer, instead of our daily battle, he was only 8 months old. Despite his youth, he was already 35+kg and nobody was prepared to take him for his first groom. Well that is until we spoke with Mandy.
Mandy was not at all phased about his size and handled him so professionally, I was the one who didn’t want to leave him alone “just in case”. After seeing how much he followed her every command and at the minimal struggle, it was a relief.
Not only can we commend her professionalism, but the price for what ends up being 2 hours for the full service is very reasonable. And Mandy has been so helpful during the pandemic, by offering welfare grooms, to minimise the matting that Ursus insists on creating, through his adventures through the brambles.
Mandy also offers training on doggy first aid, how to groom, and a dog walking facility. We certainly recommend her!
