Details
Locked In Edinburgh are based at the old Edinburgh Vet School at Summerhall so their rooms are based on real rooms, rather than purpose built, which just adds to the atmosphere. They currently have three rooms to try, The Distillery, The Secret Lab and their newest The Cutting Room where you really are in an old operating theatre. Your team and faithful hounds will have one hour to work through the puzzles and escape the room. Our Dog Furiendly Explorer was given a warm welcome when he went to play The Cutting Room and really enjoyed himself. We do admit that at some points he may have been sleeping while we puzzled our way through but he woke up and really enjoyed some of the cool reveals, as we solved parts of the puzzle, and he loved the big finale. If, like our local Explorer, you are a larger dog it's probably best to choose The Secret Lab or The Cutting Room as there is more space in these but all three rooms are dog friendly and they are all pawesome rooms to play.
If you are lucky you might get to meet the owners - French Bulldogs Dorothy and Dexter!

Miss Arya’s first experience of an escape room turned into how many dogs can you fit in an escape room with plenty room here for two collies and two husky/gsds!!! Everyone gave us such a warm welcome and there was even a dog bed and water in the escape rooms for the doggles to enjoy during the game. They all absolutely loved it although none of ours solved a puzzle in the room, apparently they’ve had a spaniel in that did!!!
With such a warm welcome, some award winning rooms and a dog furiendly cafe and pub on site at Summerhall you can make a visit to Locked In Edinburgh a really grand day out.
