Situated on the beautiful west coast of the Highlands of Scotland, this campsite is the perfect place to take your pooch.
Your four-legged friend will never be bored with a beautiful sandy beach just a minutes walk away and stunning walks in the surrounding area there is always something to do. There is a dog friendly restaurant onsite which serves food all hours of the day as well as takeaway food.
Sands Caravan and Camping is a large site that accommodates caravans, motor-caravans or tents. Whether you choose a sheltered spot amongst the sand dunes or a raised pitch with unrivalled views, the large spacious site has something for everyone.
If camping in a tent isn't your thing, the site has 12 heated wigwam cabins which gives some home comforts. These wigwams host beautiful views across the site and also welcome your furry friend to stay.

We visited here in September and were pleasantly surprised. The campsite is huge with plenty of space for everyone. They allow dogs of all sizes on the campsite but do ask to keep dogs on a lead when walking through the main areas. The best thing about this campsite is that it is right next to a gorgeous dog friendly beach! Buddy loved running along the white sands and the mountain views are stunning.
The dog friendly restaurant serves great food as well and the bathrooms at this site are super clean and look great. The service at check in was also efficient and friendly. It is also in a great area for driving to local beauty spots so there is plenty to do.
We hope to return to this campsite in the future for more adventures. 5/5 paws if you love camping and want a great site to visit 🙂
