Swallow Field Glamping site is situated in the heart of the countryside amongst rolling hills and wooded valleys. This perfect boat getaway with shared amenities is positioned alongside a lake with stunning views. Guests can relax and listen to the peaceful birdsong in their own private garden. Dogs are also welcome (maximum of 2).
The Unsinkable boat has much to offer including a private storage shed, balcony with deck chairs on top of the boat overlooking the lake and surrounding woodland, a private garden and BBQ table with disposable BBQ, kitchen and dining table, seating, and a double bed.
As this is a boat, the height of the ceilings varies and is restricted in places. With no Wi-Fi or TV, it's the ideal space to unwind and get away from the stresses of busy life and recharge.
There are 2 pubs serving excellent food around 2 miles away - Winyards Gap is a 5 minute drive and Fox Inn is an 8 minute drive. The local village shop is also around 2.5 miles away (7 minute drive). Halstock is great to explore on foot with many footpaths for guests and their dogs. Bracketts Coppice, with its 100 acres of ancient woodland, beautiful meadows and streams looked after by the Dorset Wildlife Trust, is highly recommended.
The boat has no toilet, but the shared toilet block and shower is a very short walk away. There will be other guests on site staying in the 3 other glamping accommodations.
