Set within 30,000 acres of land on the Bolton Abbey Estate, this impressive 4-star country house hotel has won awards for being dog friendly!
Dogs are allowed to stay in any of the 40 charming rooms for an additional charge of £10 per dog. On arrival, your pampered pooch will be presented with their own four-poster doggy bed, water bowl and a selection of tasty treats. Dogs even have their very own lounge (humans are free to use it too).
Dogs are welcome in most places except the Spa, Burlington Restaurant & Brasserie. Your pooch is allowed to eat out on the terrace of the Brasserie for al fresco dining, in their very own, well-loved ‘Dog Lounge’ or one of the other lounges. You can also enjoy a room service breakfast or use the pet concierge complimentary dog sitting at Reception during dinner or breakfast service. In the evening dogs can dine at The Devonshire Fell who do have some dog friendly seating areas.
Other fantastic services at the hotel include dog sitting and walking (must be arranged prior to visit); a local dog grooming service and vet information. There's also emergency dog food should you catch yourself short.
Plenty of walks nearby being located at the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. There's also a dog friendly beach nearby and plenty of off-lead walks. There's even an outside tap, with bucket, sponge, towels and drying area for when you return from your muddy walk!
