A small hotel in the middle of nowhere but close to the beauties of Snowdonia! Booking.com says the hotel is dog friendly but once you arrive you will be told that only in the cottages you can have a dog with you. Nevertheless they let us stay in the prebooked hotel room even with the Abbey and in the morning we found out there were three more dogs so we don’t understand the fuss on check-in. Very informal cosy hotel, the restaurant seems not welcoming dogs, but we’ve seen some in the wooden bar area. There is an outside seating with tables and very nice waling path just down the road,by a little bridge. We would eventually come back if nearby but will not aim to stay particularly here next time in Wales.
