Hoover Hut began life transporting vacuums all over the industrial railways, but now it's a unique glamping accommodation in Sussex, set between the High Weald AONB, South Downs National Park, and the Surrey Hills AONB.
It's off-grid, using solar panels to power the lighting in the carriage and the festoon lights that stretch from it to the outdoor kitchen space. There you'll find a small gas cooker and other essentials to make use of the sheltered eating area or the firepit, encircled with logs for seats.
With the run of the field, you can spend your time relaxing immersed in nature, either strolling about the nearby badger set or admiring the pond. There are plenty of walks and cycle paths to make use of in the local area, and in case of rain, the windows in Hoover Hut still allow spotting the fallow deer that prance through the field at dusk.
Hoover Hut is best suited to two amorous adventurers, but there's always people and places at hand. The owners, Janine and Craig, live just 200m away and are available for any questions, and you'll pass other campers on the trail to the campsite in the preceding field.
There are also a number of places to check out nearby. Pop five minutes down the road to The Peacock Inn for homemade food made with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients or to the Picture House Cinema and Restaurant - for quite literally, dinner and a show.
Please note owners have a pet dog (Badger the Springer Spaniel) and sheep are in various areas throughout the farm. Guests need to be confident that visiting dogs are ok with wildlife and livestock
