Details
The Old Coastguard, a dog-friendly, seaside hotel in the fishing village of mousehole, near the beaches and gardens of West Cornwall, the Minack Theatre and the artists' studios of Newlyn, Penzance and St. Ives.
The hotel has Fourteen bedrooms, nearly all looking out over glistening Cornish inland waters, with views to St. Michael's Mount and the Lizard. A dining room and outside terrace sitting atop a tropical garden that slopes down to the harbour wall. A traditional Brasserie menu that takes good ingredients and gives them a very simple but classic treatment. A menu that changes a little through the seasons.
Family & dog friendly. Dogs are as much a part of a break in these parts as their owners, dogs are allowed to sleep in the bedrooms and join you in the bar or on the Sun Deck.
If your dog likes to be with you while you eat then do ask when you book. There are plenty of tables in the bar where he or she can lie next to you while you eat. The is no charge for dogs.
The Coastguard aims to be at the centre of its local community with beer and drinks prices set for its regular customers, not the incoming tourists.
