Bar, food, hotel, spa and cottages - The Swan has it all!
You can visit The Swan for a delicious meal or drinks - there are loads of lovely walks in the area, but dog are also welcome in the hotel too - which has an amazing spa.
The ground floor fabulous rooms have been refurbished for those guests who want to bring a 4 legged friend to the Lake District. These rooms are spacious, light, bright, airy and truly fabulous with super king beds and luxury amenities.
They know that dogs are bound to get muddy - in the Lakes this is unavoidable! There will be a dog blanket and a dog towel in your room. Up to 2 dogs may stay in a room. If you're looking to bring the whole family, you might want to try their Nests - beautiful holiday cottages. Suitable for 2 to 8 (humans that is!) plus up to 2 dogs, the nests all feature:

The cottages come with central heating and fully equipped kitchens with range cookers, fridge freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, irons & ironing boards. There is also a supply of tea towels, oven gloves and a full log basket!

We had a lovely meal and our dogs were made to feel very welcome, it was busy (this was pre-Covid) but we managed to find a nice corner and really enjoyed our meals. Really close to a variety of local walks too, including High Dam. Children also very welcome. Dogs can’t go in the restaurant section – just the bar area, but it’s really spacious with plenty of tables.
