Our three holiday cottages are located just off the A38 in a tranquil rural hamlet, close to Looe, Seaton, Polperro, Talland Bay, Bodmin Moor, Plymouth and The Eden Project. It is in an ideal location for exploring all of Cornwall and West Devon. We converted the barns from derelict cowsheds in 2017 and they are all set around a large, beautifully landscaped courtyard. Pascoe's Pippin, Hocking's Green and Gilliflower are named after Cornish cider apples! Pascoe's Pippin and Hocking's sleep 4 and Gilliflower sleeps 2.
.
The traditional stone exteriors of Pascoe’s Pippin, Hocking's Green and Gilliflower give way to a rustic interior with a modern twist – wooden floors, exposed timber trusses contrast with the white colour scheme. This gives a light, bright and airy quality to the open plan layout. The cottages have been decorated and furnished with the utmost care and attention with an emphasis on quality.
.
The Living Room areas have comfy sofas and armchairs where you can hunker down and read a book or play a board game around the wood burning stove for a cosy evening in. Or you can take advantage of our full subscriptions to NOW TV and Disney+ and curl up to watch your favourite box sets, movies or SKY Sports.
.
The kitchens are spacious and welcoming with bespoke painted units and solid oak worktops; designed, made and installed by a local craftsman. They are very well equipped with integrated appliances and have everything you might need to cook a hearty Cornish breakfast or even a full Sunday Roast! The dining areas are sociable spaces for sharing a delicious home cooked meal together. For those warmer days or evenings, guests could have a cup of tea, or a glass of wine, outside in the private garden spaces. Pascoe's Pippin and Gilliflower both have a small private enclosed garden accessed from a side door in the sitting room. Hocking's Green has a beautifully planted private arbour set in the large shared courtyard. Pascoe's Pippin and Gilliflower both have charcoal BBQs too for your private use.
.
The bedrooms all have super comfy beds and the bed linens are all 400 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton; all designed to ensure you have a great night's sleep. The Master Suites in Pascoe's Pippin and Hocking's Green have king-size beds and the second bedrooms both have 2 single beds. Gilliflower has one bedroom with a super kingsize bed. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; the Master Suites have large walk-in shower and the second bedrooms have a bath with a shower over. Gilliflower's bathroom has a large walk in shower and a double ended bath. On the heated towel-rails you will find luxuriously thick Egyptian Cotton bath sheets and hand towels.
.
Outdoors, as well as the private outdoor spaces, there is an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens which are ideal for picnics, ball games, walking the dog or just reading a book. There is private parking for up to two cars outside each of the barns.
.
The barns are perfect for couples and families alike. We have high-chairs and travel cots available for those with babies and toddlers and plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. We are also happy to welcome up to two well behaved medium-sized dogs. Our semi-enclosed garden area leads onto a very quiet lane, so is very dog-friendly.
.
We have put a great deal of time, energy and love into ensuring the quality and finish of our cottages is first class. They really are a home from home!

Had a fabulous few days staying in Pascoe’s Pippin and Hocking’s Green in Aug/Sept 2020 celebrating my mother-in-law and father-in-law’s 30th wedding anniversary. We were made very welcome on arrival and the cottages were immaculate. Jacqui and Graham also catered for our three fury friends by providing them with a blanket to share and three bags of treats (one for each of them). There is also a big open grass area where most evenings we took the dogs for a game of fetch. Will definitely be returning in the future. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to go to Cornwall.

Space for dogs to stretch legs outside, easy to clean floors, simple dog rules.
Our dog can be quite sensitive when staying away, wanders about in the night and can get clingy but he was super chilled at this place. We all loved it
