Our Guide to Dog Friendly Birmingham City Centre
Birmingham is Britain’s second largest City after London. Filled with a plenty of buzz, it’s no wonder millions of people pass through the city every month. Here’s our guide to dog friendly Birmingham! Enjoy the second biggest city with your pooch.
Despite being a bustling city home to over 1 million people there are still some amazingly green spaces to explore with your pooches. Just a 15 minute walk out of the centre will take you to Sunset and Moonlit Park.
Two adjacent parks that are linked but both very different. Sunset Park is a nice walk with lots of open space for your dogs to run and explore, walk a little further and you will reach Moonlit Park, full of sports facilities and play areas for children of all ages.
Fancy less green and more exploration? With more canals than Venice try heading towards one of the many waterways of Birmingham for an adventure. Head towards Brindley Place and join the canals there for a gentle walk in a great atmosphere. Keep your eyes open and you might stumble across a Dog friendly café to enjoy a quick break.
Alternatively, head up towards the Jewellery Quarter, this industrial hub of Birmingham is responsible for producing 40% of all the jewellery in the UK. Take a look in a few windows on your way to more canals and you might just find something special.
