Sandy Goes To School Kids T-Shirt

£18.99

If your child is a dog-lover, they will adore this range of t-shirts. Each t-shirt is made from a light fabric of 100% ringspun cotton, and continues to feel soft with every touch.

Children love to express themselves through clothes, so what better way to express themselves than with a range designed by children across the UK.

All of the products in this range were designed by children in our Bob Martin Bark To The Future competition. Dog loving children aged 5-16 were inspired to draw a dog of the future, prompted by the question “what will dogs look like in 130 years time?”

This show-stopping design was created by Lola Shirtcliffe, aged 11, from Sheffield. Here’s what Lola said about her design: This is a dog called Sandy – he’s a dog of the future and he goes to school to learn about lots of things – like Space and other planets and also about how to look after our world. He is happy to walk on two legs or four. Dogs of the future wear clothes like humans do now! Sandy loves his purple hoody – which is my favourite colour too.

Pets As Therapy

100% of the profits from this product will be donated to Pets As Therapy (PAT) to fund their Read2Dogs scheme.

Pets As Therapy are an incredible charity who believe that every child has the right to leave school having achieved their reading level potential. The Read2Dogs scheme enables PAT Teams to visit schools, so the children can read a story aloud to a PAT dog. Dogs are great non-judgemental listeners, and they help young people to enjoy the reading experience. Children also look forward to spending time with their four-legged friend, which in turn creates a bond of trust, empathy and understanding of the needs of the pet.

The scheme helps to raise a pupil’s reading standard, boost their self-confidence, improve concentration levels and behavioural problems. The visits can have a positive impact on a child’s educational, social and emotional welfare.
