Tails.com joins ‘Bark Aid’ campaign for COVID-19 Relief

Tails.com, a favourite dog food for many pooches across the UK. Our tails were wagging with joy when tails.com offered their helping paw to Bark Aid providing a £1600 donation and prizes.

After receiving over 1500 BarkAid entries, the incredible donation from tails.com brings the total raised to date £4,300!

Not only this, but tails.com are also working alongside The Big Issue and Streetvet to make 600kg of food and treats available to self-isolating vendors.

Founder of Dog Furiendly, Adele Pember said: “We are thrilled to receive such an incredible donation and sponsorship from Tails.com!”

Sean McCormack, Head Vet at tails.com said, “Dogs have an incredible ability to lift our spirits in tough times. Bark Aid is a great way to enjoy that while also supporting animal welfare charities. We’re very happy to help and I’m sure there will be plenty of entries from our team and their dogs too!”

The donation will go towards helping charities in need, who are supporting our societies most vulnerable communities and animals.

“We hope the dog show will lift community spirits across the UK. The prizes from tails.com are sure to have the participants tails wagging.”

Bark Aid has been gathering momentum, as we welcomed support from celebrities including Laura Anderson and TOWIE’s Pete Wicks. Both will be judging the Best in Show category with prizes from tails.com.

Love Island’s Laura Anderson said, “As a huge dog lover it was a perfect match for me to be involved with Bark Aid. I feel so lucky at this time especially living alone to have my loving pooch Buddy by my side.”

“I’m thrilled to be a judge and supporter. This campaign is lifting community spirits and raising money for those in need. It’s a woofing good idea!”

We’ve also gathered support from pupfluencers! Winnie the Cocker famed for having ‘Disney eyes’ and Kratu the rescue dog who made a show-stopping appearance at Crufts by stealing an agility bar.
