Gilbert's Gallop is 2.5 acres of securely fenced high stock fencing. Each booking has exclusive private use of all our three separate and gated secure areas. There is plenty of free running space, agility equipment to try out, trampolines to jump on and hay bales to climb, all for your dog to enjoy.
Take the worry out of walking dogs with nervous or poor social skills and dogs with reactive tendencies. Ideal for practising the 'all-important' recall training, exercise the 'escape artist' and take away your fear of walking highly driven, energised dogs.
The gated entrance to our single secure car parking space takes you directly into Gilbert's Gallop field, ideal for getting multiple dogs safely from your vehicle. The main car park offers up to 7 spaces (keep dogs on a lead until inside the secure field).
Tea, coffee hot drinks facilities and bottled refreshments are available for a small additional cash payment. Water is also provided for your dog and bins for your bagged dog waste (please take home all other waste).
Your bookings will include a wide range of agility equipment, multiple tunnels, trampolines and hay bales to climb. (All equipment provided is used at your risk to your dog and only provided for dog use).
Dogs of all shapes and sizes can enjoy running up the A-frame, dashing through the tunnels or jumping on the platforms.
Private Secure Field Hire to exercise, train or just to have fun with your dog or private use of the standard agility equipment complete with our rubber contact equipment.
Agility is both physically and mentally stimulating, making it a perfect way to exercise and bond with your dog. We advocate using positive reward-based methods of training designed to build on and improve the dogs' confidence, it's ideal for shy or nervous dogs.
Younger dogs with bored or destructive behaviours need to reduce their pent-up energy and frustrations often linked to these unwanted behaviours. They can relax and help them learn control disciplines around agility equipment, re-focusing their attention on the owner for instruction and leadership commands.
