Windermere Lake Cruises

Dogs travel for free on all of our boats, but must be kept on a lead at all times!

Well behaved dogs are always welcome on our lake cruises & self-drive boats. They even get their own ticket!

• Scenic cruises on Windermere in the Lake District from Bowness, Ambleside (Waterhead) & Lakeside
• Motorboats and rowing boat hire at Bowness & Ambleside piers
• Drinking water and dog bowls on board

Points to take note:

• Dogs are not allowed on seats;
• During very busy periods or when you’re travelling with groups that are scared of dogs we may ask you to move your dog for the benefit of others;
• Please be aware some cruises are quite long and there are no dog toilets on board;
• Dogs are also very welcome at most attractions that our boats call at, however, dogs are not allowed in Lakes Aquarium
