Tinywood Homes, little wooden homes to create truly special memories
We were lucky enough to be invited to stay for a luxury glamping weekend at Tinywood Homes in Warwickshire with Oscar. Tinywood Homes are super dog friendly, they came to meet us at our wooden home and even introduced us to their dog too! Radek & Kristyna made a lovely fuss of Oscar and spent lots of time telling us about their story to managing Tinywood Homes and informing us about the local area- we thought this was lovely, they had so much energy, we could tell how passionate they were about their business. We haven’t stayed anywhere before where the management have come to meet us and this made it so much more personal.
We stayed in the Teeny Weeny DELUXE and it was absolutely breathtaking. The view from our home window gave us an unhindered view of the countryside, what more could you need! We had our own barbecue area and even more special, we had a wooden gazebo with it’s very own log-fired hot tub and seating area. The home itself had everything you would need; a dining table, king sized bed, fridge, hot & cold water, plug sockets, cutlery, kettle for the all important tea, your own toilet and a shared shower with next door. Your garden area opens up directly to the countryside and is private, Oscar loved running around here! The home was lovely and clean and as we forgot our bedding, Radek and Kristyna very kindly delivered some to our home for us to borrow.
Following the information about the local village and area here, we decided to take a lovely late afternoon stroll along the fields and woodland to the Two Boats Inn, Long Itchington. It’s a canal-side pub serving proper food and drink. Dogs are welcome here and we chose to sit outside the pub by the canal as the sun set. It was a delicious meal, the best burgers we have ever eaten! When we got back to the home we decided to get into the hot tub, I cannot explain how stunning it was to relax in the hot tub whilst watching the stars in the sky over the fields. It made me think about how lucky I am in life and was a special moment I will never forget.
This is a glamping experience and therefore there is no TV so after relaxing in the hot tub we played games and chatted. It’s definitely something we would love to do again, you don’t need TV’s, internet and social media to have a great time. Tinywood Homes gave us the perfect opportunity to be present and appreciate good company.
There are plenty of walks in the area, the following day we did the Falcon Shotteswell and Horley walk, we like to hike off of the beaten track and so we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Oscar had a wonderful time with us on his holidays and we would definitely recommend Tinywood Homes to anybody who wants a special experience with their loved ones and dogs too!
