Biscuit Week

Hello, Bakers (or should we say Barkers),

It's the FIRST week of the Great Doggy Bake Off and our tails are WAGGING to see you all bake delicious treats for your pooch.

This week it's biscuit week! Dogs go mutts for peanut butter, and chicken tends to have them drooling the moment they get a whiff. So we're kicking things off with delicious Chicken Sat-stay recipe!

Recipe: Chicken Sat-Stay Biscuits

Week One - Biscuits3
Ingredients
  • 65g Peanut Butter (No xylitol)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 120ml Water
  • 1 Carrot Grated
  • 50g cooked chicken (chop into small pieces)
  • 195g Rolled Oats (porridge oats)
  • 130g Whole meal flour
Method
1) Preheat your oven to 180C and combine the peanut butter, honey, egg, water, carrot and chicken into a bowl
2) Stir until well blended and add flour and rolled oats to create a dough
3) Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s ¼ inch thick
4) Cut out the dough with a dog bone shaped cookie cutter and place the treats 1 inch apart on parchment lined baking sheets
5) Bake for 20-25 minutes, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in a sealed container or re-sealable plastic bag or freeze.
